kaylo
The lack of lich mods for Skyrim saddens me, and I wanted to create a lich mod based off of ThePostalDude's MOE lichcraft scripts. Is thepostaldude off the grid? I couldn't find anything of his that gave permission to edit and re-release his mods. There are a lot of things that aren't compatible with the new scripting engine, and simple syntax changes in the scripts won't work most of the time; however, a lot of the language is similar and I'm managing to at least create a rough copy for Skyrim (my scripting knowledge is limited, and a lot of what I've learned is from taking apart and tweaking other people's mods over the years). As far as I know I couldn't release this to the community though. Is anyone else working on a similar mod, or can anyone confirm whether ThePostalDude prohibits use of his work? I'll keep this for private use in the meantime, but I'm sure others in the community would like a lich mod as well. There are a few ideas I'd like to pull from Lichcraft 2 as well, though a lot of this seems impossible with papyrus. Specifically worship points I have no idea how to implement efficiently. I'm hoping someone with more experience with Skyrim modding will start work on something similar in the near future.
