dimondtrident
Ok i have no idea where else to post this and it is with fallout 4 mods. So when I install a mod via nexus mod manager instead of saying for example 9MM Pistol it says 9.Weapons. This applies to every mod. I can still figure out what mod is what but is annoying. So is this normal or a bug or what. Great now I'm getting some sevenzipshare error when installing some mods. What the hell is that and how do I fix it. Frogzilla82
You have a mod renaming them. You're going to have to find out which one.
Algabar
Not 100% sure if I understand correctly. If I do, that's "just normal". It's also nothing NMM specific. The name of the mod displayed by NMM (and other mod managers) is usually the name the mod author gave to the archive, that you download and install. Other mod managers basically do the same thing, so witching to a different mod manager probably won't help...Be grateful, if this name is recognizable at all. There are also some genies out there, who call the archives of their creations something like "fomod installer" or "update - fixed"... The "sevenzip sharp" bug is one of the most elusive "features" of NMM. Google it and you will find lots of different explanations and "fixes". That issue is hard to track down... What you CAN do: Download the latest version of NMM from Github (not from Nexus - the version here isn't the latest on). Try if that helps with the "sevenzip sharp" issue.https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases
Moksha8088
There is a little pen and paper icon on the left-hand side of the mods window in NMM. Highlight the mod in question then click that icon to update the listed information. If worse comes to worse, perhaps the .9 designation will help remind you that it stands for 9mm. Gopher has some excellent videos of how to use NMM on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1CSCMwaDubQ4rcYCpX40Eg
