Performance problems

Hey guys,

following problem: Im trying to run my Skyrim on best quality possible, but it seems my PC (especially CPU I think) is too low or some mods get me into problems. It really depends ingame - sometimes it runs very well without noticable stutter. Another time I got a one pic after another with freezes up to 2min. (mostly in landscapes after cam turning). Looking forward to Sky Boost for 1.5.26 but would like to play with best quality possible up to that.

So maybe u got some ideas helping me in any way. Also grateful if someone got any mod he seems I forgot to make Skyrim look epic :x. (Dont use FXAA Injector - looking really great at daylight but at night and in some dungeons I hardly see anything - preset 2, normal? )

Settings maxed out expect Shadows on Medium.

my system:

- Intel Core2Duo E8400 (2x3ghz)

- GeForce GTX 460

- 4GB DDR2

- Win 7 Home Premium

my mods:

- Quality World Map

- Better Dynamic Snow

- Crimson Tide - Dark Blood

- Enhanced Distant Terrain

- Enhanced Night Skyrim

- Lush Grass

- Lush Trees

- Realistic Lighting

- Vurts Flora Overhaul

- SkyUI

- Sounds of Skyrim - The Wilds

- Static Mesh Improvement Mod

- W.A.T.E.R

- Skyrim 2K HD Textures

Thanks in advance

hey, make skyrim looks epic need a power pc

if the game lag you probably need a better graphic card or more ram

1 month ago my skyrim has been laggy and stutter with 4gb of ram and a gts 450

now with 8gb of ram and a gtx560ti all the lag issue are gone :D

i recommend you to delete lush trees and lush grass, if nothing change try delete skyim 2k hd textures or take the lite one

forgive my bad eng

those specs would only buy you medium quality with no texture, models,or (talos forbid) ENB improvements... the system just won't take it

you would need a quad core or an i7 to move all that at an acceptable framerate. definitely more than 4gb ram (ddr3) and a much better gpu

and before you complain, yes... you CAN play the game with those specs and even lower, but it just won't look that great.

instead, i would focus on mods that make your gameplay more enjoyable

ok, I feared that :>

whatever, heard of many people with similar or worse specs playing with "some" texture mods and ultra settings without problems. Might be false - though I play Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 on DX11 with ultra settings too at ~50 fps.

So I keep trying out different settings.

Thanks though.
