messiasmummo
I have a couple of questions related to making an armour standalone. Now I know how to get a custom armour in to the game, but I'd like to know how to make those craftable and change the crafting materials. Also how do you "standalone" several textures that share the same mesh?I'd appreciate if someone could help me since I'm a noob when it comes this stuff. :PSorry for my bad English and I'm sorry if this is a obvious question. Thank you in advance :)
David Brasher
Here is a tutorial that talks about making new crafting recipes: Tutorial. The purpose of a standalone armor mod is to add your new items into the game alongside the originals so that both are available. This is instead of having a replacer mod which destroys all the originals and only lets you have the new ones. So you are not concerned about textures here, you are only concerned about meshes. Your meshes need to be used on different objects in the CK than the originals. Perhaps what you are asking is what you do if you have different versions of the armor. Let's say you have a silver one, a gold one, and a bronze one. then you would have three meshes and you would attach them to three new objects in the CK so that you would add three new sets of armor to the game alongside the original armor.
