MO2 - What do you do with SSEEdit Backup files in overwrite?

I have another question regarding MO2.

1. I want to add Verdant (grass mod)

2. I want Realistic Water Two

3. There is a Realistic Water Two - Verdant Patch.

Should I merge the patch into one of the two mods by giving it the same name and then merging it? Or should I install it separately and then load after both mods using LOOT?

the installation order doesn't actually matter in MO2 , and you don't need to merge the patch into one of these mods (although you can)

you just need to make sure that the patch is loaded after the two mods (so if you merge in , make sure to merge it into the last of the two mods in your order)

if the patch also includes a plugin , make sure it is loaded after the plugins from these mods

you can manually move plugins in the load order , so be sure to do so

Ok that's clear, thank you!

I have yet another question. How does converting a mod work? I want to convert: aMidianBorn book of Silence (armors and weapons). I used to:

1. Install the mod

2. Open the CK, click on data to load a mod

3. Change something

4. Change it back

5. Save the mod

But now, mods are not installed into Data anymore. How do you load a mod into the CK if using MO2?

I believe you need to run the CK through MO2

so you need to add it as an executable , and run it from MO2

I've never tried this with the CK , but that should work

in case it doesn't work , and all you want to do is edit something in the plugin , there are two other options

the first is to try and edit the plugin using SSEEdit through MO2

the other is to move the plugin into your Data folder , run the CK normally , do whatever you need and then return the plugin to its place inside the mod in MO2
