Nexus Mod Manager older version issue

Hi,

Apologies if this is silly and/or not posted in the correct place...

I've been away from the game for a while, not sure exactly how long, probably 6 months roughly. I thought I'd come back and have a look around. I launch my NMM (version 0.63.13) and it attempts to update itself but fails, with a message "Nexus Mod Manager Updater: Could not get version information from the update server."

I had a look to see what the current version is (0.65.2 as of the time I'm writing this), but I'm reluctant to download and install, as I don't know what that's going to do to my existing setup, with all my mods and plugins.

Is there an easy way to get this sorted, or is it going to require a lot of fiddling?

Many thanks.

the latest version is actually 0.65.5 , which you can find on the GitHUB page

you'll need that version to fix the server errors , so that you could log in and download mods through NMM (versions prior to 0.65.3 won't work , due to the server update)

as far as I know , there is no issue with updating NMM

I've helped many individuals with this error , and have seen no reports of problems after updating NMM

but as I don't personally use NMM , I can't confirm this myself
