qasiermo
So, i was looking through the properties of skyrim in steam, and i clicked on the language bar and changed to spanish to see what would happen, It immediately started downloading the spanish version (without asking for confirmation), so i put it back on english without downloading spanish, Now i have to wait half an hour for steam to download the english version wich already is installed on my computer,,, So, while i am waiting. Does anybody know if its possible to quickly change between two languages? Spanish is my second foreign language, thats why i am asking. It would be a fun way to improve my skills, although it kinda breaks immersion having spanish speaking nords! :P My guess is of course no, as i see steam now downloading the english pack, even though i did not install the spanish one... xlcr
interesting way to practice your foreign language skills! lol. i'm just guessing here, probably be easiest/safest to make a protected backup copy of all your 'English' version Skyrim folders (including your 'My Games' profile), then let Steam convert everything to Spanish (probably mostly voice files), when you want to go back to English switch/restore any/all the folder names. Any mods might be problematic unless these specifically support other languages, no idea how doing all this might impact your savegames.Keep an eye on this skyrim.ini setting also i guess:[General]sLanguage=ENGLISH adios dovahkiin.
