I'm not sure what the actual name of this word game is, but I can describe it. I say two phrases such as "the gas we breathe in to stay alive" plus "the creation of an item". Your job is to combine two words for those phrases into one new word. In this case, it'd be "oxygeneration" (think for a second, you'll get it.). Remember that the last syllable of the first word must also be the first syllable of the second word.

1. "Word for describing a round object." + "A snowy region"

2. "Scottish warrior." + "Skin doctor."

3. "A hitman." + "A synonym for 'seriously'."

4. "A symphonic composition." + "A death notice."

5. "A thoughtful, pensive mood." + "A sausage consisting primarily of liver meat."

6. "Pertaining to the heart." + "A synonym for 'precise'."

7. "Someone who searches through trash for items." + "A germ killer."

8. "The size of a bullet." + "A common 9mm. handgun."

9. "A protector." + "A reply to a question or problem."

10."Pertaining to physical machines." + "One of the states on the United States' western coast."

Nice, kinda halfway cryptic crosswordish...

7 = Scavengermicide

8 = Caliberretta?

EDIT: I like that both these answers sound like European bands, Scavengermicide would be Swedish death metal, Caliberetta would be Italian ska-punk ;)
