scarycave
Hi, I just got oblivion about two days ago, haven't got very far, been too addicted with the aspect of modding. The first mod I'm putting together is a dog companion mod, original I know. So he follows, Attacks, Knocks himself out on command, all good for an npc companion, but indoor travel does not appear to be an option. I tried making a spell to have him jump to your position, didn't work. Tried making a summoning spell, ended up with multiple puppies that died on impact with the ground. :ohdear: Does anyone know how I can get him to follow me indoors? The_Vyper
An actor (creature or NPC) has to have a certain level of Intelligence to "open" a door. Try setting the dog's Intelligence to 30 (I think that's the required level) and see if he goes through the door.

As soon as I loaded he came barreling right through the doors of fort nikel. Thanks! I must have missed the intelligence mention in the tutorial. The_Vyper
Thanks! I must have missed the intelligence mention in the tutorial. You're welcome! :D I'm glad I could help. Yeah, I couldn't find it in the tutorial either. I just remember someone telling me that when I had the same problem a couple of years ago.
