novac problem,how to see version

I am havin a real problem in novac. I have seen and talked to manny and boone outside however i never see them in the dino mouth. My game has to be up to date right? Its an official dvd/steam version and auto updates anything for steam and the games you have in it. So why cant i see boone up in the mouth at nite? This means i cant aquire him,a real bummer hes my favorite companion:( i have b4 twice b4. I start a new toon then i cant. Also how do i see what version of fnv i have as in updated 1.2 1.3 or 1.4, where do i see that? I did the boone quest with all the modes that DONT have a recent by them. so i wonder. im gonna try disabling the new ones. 1 more thing i know default is to autoupdate the game, can you evin turn that on & off? Ok i found where you see ther version. I took out the recent mods reloaded with them out and still no boone in the dino moth at 11:00 p.m saw manny in his room but not boone up there and i seen him go in the dino. perhaps the boone quest broke after the 2011 july patch bummer. I had not tried that quest yet after that.

Mr.moneybags-lol i just said lol he bugged once i just used the reset computer that comes with him fixed it,he wasnt giving money and had 60k reset fixed.

 

Well i at last found a way to get the boone quest going. After much trial and failers. I also put the updated version of unlimited companins RC2. I went into the mouth right after 9p.m. manny was still there,btw i wasnt evin seein manny there b4. I hit wait for 1 hr and bingo! theres boone, bc of the hr i had to waste i cant get to miss may when shes leaving the office. So i have to push her to front of dino from her house,least i figured that out. She wont follow from her house i take it. a vid i watched on this she followed from the office,this guy was quick to get back to her in time
