hagahagh
Hello guys first i apologize for both: my bad english and that i propably used the wrong topic but i'm new to the nexus chat so forgive me for that ^^ now to my problem: I'm trying to start the creation kit and do some modding for a while now but if i load the skyrim files i get about a thousand Error reports saying that certain files couldn't be found ( if the programm doesn't shut down after that it works aside from a few bugs but no mayor issues. but i dont whant to start modding if i have to go through 5 minutes of closing error reports every time i start the game). i guessed thet it may have something to do with the fact that i'm in germany so he can't find the english data paths ( don't know how you call them ^^)and after i swiched the game ( skyrim ) to english in steam, there really were less reports but still it takes me a minute to klick them away. so now my question:is there a german version an if there is where can i find it...if there isn't would it be possible to change the reffrences of the files that the programm can't find...and now for something completly diffrent ^^ i'm searching for some modders ( you should have skype ) hwo would help me creating a quest so if you're interested ^^ thanks for listening ^^ hagahagh never underrestimate the power of the scoutscode :D
FrozenFeather
when you open skyrim data it will whine of those "errors" just select "yes to all" when Creation Kit whines of it,then simply wait until Creation Kit loads all files it might take some time depeding your system. Windows Language wont effect your Creation Kit use, german lang. windows may have same issue as finnish where is "Cancel" in place of "yes to all"when ignoring thoses errors, but things still work. If you want change skyrim language , you probably have to change entire steam language todeutsch. What comes to ingame missing file whine, you don't need worry, it whines every time afer removig modor changing it to another, but if textures are missing after whine, then simply re-instal that mod what seems be missing. Youtube is good source for tutorials of quests, npc, items, spells and etc. Edited May 8, 2012 by FrozenFeather

Ghaunadaur
Hi No need to switch the game language. I'm also using a german game version and it's normal that there are many warnings in CK. But you can do a few things to reduce it. First, open SkyrimEditor.ini in your installation folder and change sLanguage=ENGLISH to sLanguage=GERMAN. Then, get yourself the Fixed German Strings Pack. And you're right, there is no 'yes to all' button, click 'Abbrechen' instead. Hope it helps. GrußGhaun
