screen0riginaltrue Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 My modded oblivion kept crashing on the menu so I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and then I uninstalled the mods. No change, keeps crashing on the menu. Did the order of uninstallation affect the outcome? Any way to fix this crash?
kingtitan Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Oblivion tends to retain a lot of “meta data” that can stick around long after you think you’ve uninstalled everything. I would recommend following this guide: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Oblivion_reinstall_procedure and seeing if that helps. Obviously, I can’t promise that this will absolutely work, but making sure you are doing a clean install would be my first suggestion.
