GoodfellowGoodspring Posted May 8, 2012 Share Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Please tell me im not the only modder having these certain problems with the kit, even though i know it is bugged in general and needs patching. - After a few hours using the kit i struggle to rotate the camera in render view as instead of it being smooth its very fast and uncontrollable i end up underneath the map or 2-3 spaces away which is annoying. - Im unable to paint textures to the floor after a while and it turns black or im unable to paint at all (also in the Oblivion kit.) - When im modding on separate map square thingys, after a certain time using the kit different parts of the map do not render at all and appear in 'low detail' mode meaning i have to restart and run again. - When landscape editing, rock textures (im guessing they come with the texture and arnt placeable) still appear in the position the land was in so they float in midair. I know of the Navmesh and facegen bugs, are modders still attempting major projects or holding back into the problems are fixed? We just gotta live with them until Bethesda fixes them, which will likely be never, or when Skyrim isn't a big deal anymore. :/ If you have the camera thing, click on an object in your render window. Black ground texture can be fixed by painting over it with another texture. I don;t think I get the third problem. However, I do occasionally have this weird glitch where if I click on an exterior cell, like a world space, The large objects like houses will be invisible. If this is your problem, just click on another cell far away from the cell you're working on, and then go back to the original cell. Hope that comes across good. GoodfellowGoodspring Posted May 8, 2012 Author Share Posted May 8, 2012 Your last point sounds like my problem, lets say a cliff doesn't show up but clicking where it is will display it for a few seconds before disappearing again. Ive tried moving elsewhere but still nothing loads and nothing loads on the cell i moved too! Maybe you'll just need to wait till they come out with a fix. :/ Or, maybe you'll luck out and find a fix that works for you. IDK, though, cuz that's weird that these problems have no fix for you.
