Bearmang
Hopefully someone here can help, havent had much luck anywhere else. Did a brand new install of both Skyrim and NMM with the intention to get back in to the game and modding it, done it before never had an issue. Until yesterday. Anytime I try and run NMM I get a message and a tracelog, with the error being:C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Black_Tree_Gaming\NexusClient.exe_Url_gain1zdhkpbyw2jzilftlyqygdtwzisk\0.65.2.0\szc102ro.newcfg' because it is being used by another process. Okay... no big deal thought maybe something had a delay on opening. Closed everything in task manager, both details and processes tab. Tried it again, same issue. Did a fresh install of NMM, cleaned out all the folders... same issue. Did a quick computer search for the black tree folder, deleted the config folder, booted it up. No issue. Then I tried to download a mod, and BAM, came right back up and force closed NMM. Now any time I try and run it, I get this issue. I am at a loss at what to do, none of my fixes have worked. Should I try and older version of NMM? Is this a known issue with a fix coming soon? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
achintyagk
Your antivirus might be accessing the config file. Have you tried restarting your PC? Make sure you're running the latest version of NMM from https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases too. If nothing works, I'd recommend upgrading to an up-to-date, supported mod manager like Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex.
