Pirate ship or other

I want to make a player home for myself but I just don't know how to do that. So I want to get a pirate ship that is already in the game and copy it and change it into a player home where I want it. I was wondering if that is even possible. If I can't find some sort of ship I could just copy a house that I like and make it my home instead. Maybe take the DB sanctuary, copy it, and put it somewhere else and convert it into a player home.

hi digitalmax, as you probably know there are a few ship/home inspired mods already out there, most are works-in-progress and

alter game world exterior cells so there is always the possibility of bug issues. Here are a few of them:

I was looking for something closer to Riverwood as a starting base of sorts. I like some of the houses around the area people have made but most are too dark, too cluttered, just weird, or really overboard for what I need. Asteria looks promising though as its easy to reach when you start a new character. I play an Assassin/Ranger/Hunter class and I wanted something more geared towards that type of playstyle. I had a mod originally called Sylvanheim but with my lighting mod it was almost pitch black in there. I would love to have a little cave place with some respawning ores and a little garden for my poisons. Not sure how to change the respawns on plants yet though. Is there a good tutorial to learn how to make a player house. Edited by digitalmax

Ive found that cloning objects tends to cause more problems then it solves when modding, some objects are linked to others like quests or radiant AI so you don't know what your messing with but it usually saves time and isnt gamebreaking most of the time! :D
