Vortex, SKSE FAIL!

I'm a little livid so bare with me while I attempt to cool down and get some help. I installed Vortex at 9:00 AM Central US time today then spent the last 7 hours manually downloading mods and installing them in Vortex. I watched video after video and after three attempts got SKSE installed properly. I even tested it and the game loaded up. BUT after finishing all downloads and supporting files, reloading Vortex and re-booting this goofy windows 10 machine, found the game to no longer load at all. Then I happened to notice SkyrimSE isn't even a supported game in Vortex. Can't do the suggested disk search for games either.

 

Vortex Sucks IMO ... it's laggy, slow in response and locked up several times. It did not explain why I had a few errors well and offered no help in fixing them. I managed to fix those on my own (Somehow). It does look pretty and probably will eventually become your standard, but as of today it's not working very well.

 

I liked it for a while and was considering becoming a supporting member of nexus but right now I'm so pissed off I'd probably rip my CC to shreds before making a payment. So NOW I am installing 147 mods into nexus Traditional Mod manager in hope that the game will run and maybe I can get an hour of play before bed tonight.

 

I also would like to point out several incompatibilities I found in the Mod database, this could be operator error or something worse. I ran into several mods demanding other mods which were not readily available and even a few mods requesting files that I just could never find. Either because they were unsupported or renamed or merged into newer mods.

 

Now, I'm not the smartest cookie in the jar by any means. Actually a noob to mods to be honest. So maybe I missed something. All I know is the game won't load and Vortex don't seem to work. Any work arounds would be greatly appreciated.
