Strange Texture issue

Hi guys, i have been struggling with an issue that has reared its head a couple days ago.

 

When in 1st person mode and ready to fight, (so weapon or weapon & shield visable), the textures of my characters, hands/weapon/shield vanish, and are replaced with blue, mesh? this happens when facing certain directions only...or so i thought. today i came to the realisation that it is actually the mist on the mountains that is causing it. when i face the mountain mist, the texture of my weapons/shield vanishes and the mist dissappears also, when i move weapon out of the mist direction, texture re appears and so too the mists .... very strange. i can't help thinking it is something to do with steams installation of mods. i tried it last week for the first time, bang now i have this problem.

 

I have attached 2 pics to show exactly what i mean, since i am not very good at explaining myself.

 

I have uninstalled all my mods 1 by 1 and none fixed the problem, even though i really only have 3 environmental mods. better fire and smoke, better snow, and ultra realistic lighting. the rest are armour or weapon or house and such mods.

 

the steam mod i installed was better detailed towns, and better distant detail or some-such mods. could they have not uninstalled properly?

 

Any help would be appreciated. Even if it is a direction to pursue.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

 

For anyone else who has these type strange issues with their game after installing and uninstalling a million mods. this bug actually stayed even with NO mods. I deleted Skyrim.ini and Skyrimpref.ini and found several files that remained even after uninstalling everything. thus the problem is no more.

 

I will place the blame toward steam, and its rather hands-off approach to installing and uninstalling mods. Serves me right for stepping out of my secure little nexus bubble. :D
