Machinima Help

I've been looking around the web for vids or a text guide that will help me make machinimas in Fallout 4. I'm decent with console commands and installing mods that may help me with making a machinima, but I don't know how to get a character talking so that I can capture the mouth moving animations. I have also seen some people actually lip-sync and I was wondering if it can only be achieved with the creation kit.
