celestevasquez87
The first time I used a revolver (the Ranger Sequoia) in VATS and 3rd person mode, I accidentally shot at a friendly NCR trooper but he didn't got hit. The next day I still used it, I shot at a wall, I was expecting it should hit where I'm directly aiming at with my crosshair and the bullet just hitted way high above my crosshair! Is there any solution to fix this bug? It's getting annoying, really. With the cases that come out from guns (not the misc. items) they seem to be a bit "transparent" not solid but hard to see. I can only tell this happened when I installed R&S tactical weapons pack, along with its' EarJ Ammo Project master. Is there any solution to fix this? dubiousintent
Most weapons in the game has both "skill" and "strength" requirements. If you are using a weapon without the minimum requirements met, the game reflects that with wild inaccuracy. For the Ranger Sequoia that is Guns skill of 75 and STR of 6. So ... it sounds like it's working by design. But see also the several "Issue: Aiming - " entries under the "Solutions to Graphics problems" section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. As for your semi-transparent shell casings, "transparency" issues appear most commonly with "post-processors" such as ENB or SweetFX. IF you are using one of them,, see the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section of the "Troubleshooting guide". If not, look into a possible texture issue in the comments sections of the two mentioned mods. Also remember that "weather" and "lighting" mods can have an impact on how things appear in game when they create general lighting that varies too much from "vanilla". "Vanilla" is the baseline for most mods. (The vagueness of this last response is one of the reasons we ask for your sorted load order in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Details matter, and without them we can only guess) -Dubious-
celestevasquez87
Thanks dubiousintent, but you should know that my save file is currently old, it's like I played it for a LONG time now. This is its' history: 302 hours, 45 minutes, and 16 seconds. Its' really old and I don't keep track on how many days I' ve played it, but just a little realization, I went crazy with quest mods, weapon mods, and other stuff. The revolver issue, my character has like, 10 STR and 100+ guns skill (with the help of more perks, and project nevada's level limit). I disabled RSA Innovative mod and its' master file, but the bullet casing textures are still semi transparent. No, I don't use any ENB or SweetFX (they only yield my game's graphics to be beautiful but ehh I don't really need them) and it is still like that though. But I'll try reading the guide if this works. Thanks in advance!
