wout25
Hello, I recently migrated from NMM to Vertex after a harddisk failure resulting in my NMM setup to be totally screwed.I used the Vortex migration tool and all-in-all it worked great. All my installed/activated mods were imported and I had relatively few other problems. I must say, after taping my head back together after it was cracked open by trying to find out how the priority system and Vortex as a whole works. I like the advantages it has over NMM. Sure, no manual sorting, but once you understand the priority system, you start to love it. Especially the groups-system and the per mod file priority (the lightning icon) which can be altered after the installation of the mods (in NMM you can only do this while installing the mods). The downside is the sluggishness of the ui and the redeployment fases. I hope that's due to it being in an alpha state and that it will improve in the future. Now, for this possible bug... I was playing FO4 and noticed that some hotkeys weren't working. I use the Hotkeys mods and it was migrated from NMM. The Hotkeys mod consists of 4 files: FO4Hotkeys - Main.ba2, FO4Hotkeys.esp, FO4Hotkeys.ini and Hotkeys.ini that all reside in the Data folder. While searching for the problem I found out that the Hotkeys.ini file was in another Data folder inside the Data folder. So this extra Data folder and correct Hotkeys.ini file in it must have been placed there by Vortex during the migration process. Maybe you can check the install path for these kind of files in the migration script. Thank you for creating Vortex. I'm definitely a convert now. I'm not going back to NMM.
