nemeyeth
Hi Guys! Recently, I started to play with mods again and I try to make my skyrim as immersive, beautiful and huge as possible. I just finished the environment part and I'm happy about it… However, I decided to enhance towns and cities, installed some mods but there are two major conflicts: Jk's Skyrim and Holds - City Overhaul. Thos two mods have some major issues - mostly clipping ofc - that I want to repair. I can easily disable some clipping objects via console or move objects, i do not want to delete, via a replacer mod. The thing is that I know it would be better to save the changes inside the mod files - or make a patch for both. Is there a way to save changes I made in a form of a mod or I just can repack the files and it will be fine? Thanks a lot
WastelandAssassin
if you want to move things around , try loading both into the CK and messing around with the buildings\objectsbe sure to save to a new plugin , in case you make a mess and need to start from scratch (you could make one of the mods as the active plugin , and just keep a back up version in case of errors)
nemeyeth
Thanks. Another porblem is that was unable to run CK - some errors occured. I'll try again though but is there any other option? :< EDIT: Ok, i disabled ck in firewall and now it works. Let's the hell begin ;) Edited June 10, 2018 by nemeyeth
hielkeskyrim
If you want a nice overhaul of your towns and cities without too much hassle, I would recommend: - Jk's Skyrim all in one- Jk's Skyrim No lights Patch- Immersive laundry- JK's Skyrim SE immersive laundry replacer - Dawn of Skyrim- JK's Skyrim - Dawn of Skyrim patch- No snow under roof- JK's Skyrim - No snow under roof patch- JK's skyrim - Realistic water two- Cutting room floor I run this list and it's absolutely fantastic in my opinion. No xEdits required since all patches are provided. Note: This is a very demanding setup. I kinda assumed you have a good hardware setup since you're messing with these large overhauls. nemeyeth
I have exactly sth like this but I do not really like Dawn of Skyrim - that's why I try to make everything work with Holds. I also have Autumn in Whiterun. Anyway, i have 1080 gtx and i7, 16gb ram - still not enough sometimes :D Edited June 10, 2018 by nemeyeth
hielkeskyrim
I have a gtx 1080ti and I struggle in certain spots like the entrance of riften, riften market and some specific spots in certain cities (20 fps without SSE Engine Fixes, 40-45 with SSE Engine Fixes). But overall it runs at 60fps. (I also play at 1440p, so it is not really a fair comparison if you play at 1080p).
nemeyeth
Yeah, I play in 1080. Have to install a few mods more and then I'll tweak everything to stick as close to 58-59fps as I can :D
nemeyeth
Ok, I figured it out few days ago - had to change flags of the mods to esm instead of esp. The thing is that some object that are visible in CK are not visible in the game. Any Ideas? :<
