NickWarfare - Formal warning issued

NickWarfare has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

 

Re-upload of a mod previously removed by a member of staff as it has contained assets by other authors without the original authors permissions. The user was aware of violating the Terms and Policies when re-uploading this mod to Nexus.

 

The mod first was uploaded with the title „********* Revived“. Shortly after the mod had been uploaded the mod title was edited to

„******** Revived (DOWNLOAD FAST)“

 

Mod description (excerpt):

„********* is a mod that was deleted 2 years ago. It changes the Commonwealth and Far Harbor into a Last of Us type of environment with overgrown moss and lots of trees. I did NOT create this mod, but I love this mod and I just want more people to have it. DOWNLOAD FAST BEFORE IT GETS TAKEN DOWN!!! I WILL SACRIFICE FOR YOU GUYS!!!!“

 

Shortly after the mod had been placed under moderation, the user themselves removed the mod.

Just this once the user will be spared a ban of their account. If something like that happens again the user’s account is very likely to be banned.

 

 

Terms and Policies (excerpt):

All files uploaded must have been created by the uploader or used with permission from the original author of the content. Such permission must be indicated in the Readme text attached to the file and/or on the Description page (or in the Description field for images), and must be obtained in advance, before uploading the file. If you cannot provide proof of consent then your file will be removed and your account is likely to be banned.
