Run GECK with NVSE

I wrote some scripts using NVSE commands. But geck refuse to compile them.

I have install geck powerup and the latest version of nvse. Is there a way to run geck with nvse? So I can compile the scripts using nvse commands!

From "nvse_readme.txt" which is included in the NVSE package:

"Scripts written with these new commands must be created via the G.E.C.K. after it is launched via nvse_loader. Open a command prompt window, navigate to your NV install direcory, and type "nvse_loader -editor". Alternately you can create a shortcut to nvse_loader.exe, open the properties window and add "-editor" to the Target field. The normal editor can open plugins with these extended scripts, but it cannot recompile them and will give errors if you try."

Done it! Thanks! After that I run the new nvse_loader with "-editor" shortcut or geck powerup?

From "The GECK PowerUp for New Vegas" Description page which can be found here: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/36290

"NVSE SUPPORT

New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) is supported by PowerUp 0.1.1 with a special update. This update is not required if you don't use NVSE.

From 0.1.2 RC onward PowerUp has integrated support for NVSE.

I've tested NVSE 1.0 beta 1 and 1.0 beta 4, but it will most likely work with other versions as well."

I have downloaded this since it's the newest version

http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41642

But you haven't exactly answer my last question. Do I have to run geck powerup or the new shortcut I have create with "-editor" ??

You have to run the shortcut of course. You would have known it if you had read the readme included in "geck-powerup-nv-0-1-6-20110707-41642-0-1-6.zip"

"To run GECK with PowerUp and NVSE, copy the Data folder to your Fallout: New Vegas directory (where geck.exe is),

then load the Geck through nvse as usual: nvse-loader.exe -editor."

Reading "readme" is a good practice, you know.

When I try to run the new nvse_loader shortcut with -editor it gives me an error "Couldn't read arguments". Help??

EDIT: I found the solution. I transfered all the new vegas files to a new directory:

D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Fallout New Vegas
