IslandGirl
You put the f4se_1_10_89.dll, f4se_loader.exe and f4se_steam_loader.dll in your Fallout4 folder then tried to run the game using the f4se_loader.exe and it still won't work?
Moksha8088
F4SE is one of those game components that cannot be added by a game manager since it does not go in the data folder. Gopher has a good Youtube video on how to install it and there are written instructions at the site where you downloaded F4SE. Make sure the version of F4SE you use matched your version of the Fallout4.exe file.
skootwbsx
its f4se 06 09 or whatever, the newest. fallout is also up to date. i tried installing a mod via vortex, one that didnt need f4se and the same thing, you hit launch and nothing happens

IslandGirl
The way you identify which version of f4se you need is by the game version. In this situation, it's 1_10_89, which is available on their website. Match that with your game version (you can either hover over the Fallout.exe file in your Fallout4 folder or right-click the file < Properties < Details) and it should work just fine. Make sure you run the game from f4se_loader.exe (right-click and Run as Administrator). Hope that helps. :)
