shotgun188
Every ENB I've tried always makes my game crash whenever I try to either load a save or start a new game. It just crashes without any Windows error message and I usually get those when the game crashes. Any way I can fix it? I haven't touched my Skyrim.exe except with the Nvidia Control Panel. Keev
Every ENB I've tried always makes my game crash whenever I try to either load a save or start a new game. It just crashes without any Windows error message and I usually get those when the game crashes. Any way I can fix it? I haven't touched my Skyrim.exe except with the Nvidia Control Panel. I've had issues with a few enb mods in other games, which required some tweaking for them to work on my system. I've learned the hard way to make backups, which can be tricky with certain mods. First, double check the enb mod description to make sure you aren't missing something required for it to work, like script extender, or maybe there is another mod you are currently running that has known compatibility issues with the end mod. If the enb mod has an ini u can change, maybe tweak the settings a bit lower. If you are unsure what the setting does, just search for it on a search engine. Also maybe try setting ur nvidia cp settings to default settings. With graphics mods sometimes its better to start with the lowest settings, load the game, then go up from there. In a worst case scenario once i had to take a screenshot of mods i had thru NMM, uninstall the game, uinstall NMM and all associate folders, kept my save files of course, reinstall the game, patch the update, reinstall NMM, reinstall each mod one by one. That sucked of course, but worked, but ever since then I have been careful with mods that effect graphics, like enb, water reflection mods, etc. I now always download them without nmm, look at the files the mod effects, backup those specifc files, then insall with NMM.
