BTW, game runs on ultra with no lagg.

My first guess is a background program taking focus away from the game for a little too long - this is more common when something is happening such as a fight or changing cells when the game is using a lot of CPU.

Any background program that suddenly decides it has to run something right now can do this. IM programs checking for new messages, VOIP call incoming, some program checking for updates, An auto defrag or indexing. Even your antivirus suddenly deciding to check something.

There are several programs available to help you find & shut down background processes while you play. One I have used is the FREE version of Game Booster. - available here http://majorgeeks.com/Iobit_Game_Booster_d5952.html

Be sure to read the instructions for ANY add on program before running it.

It turns out, that update 8 is caussing the trouble. I've read some comments, and some other people are having the same issue. I guess, i will have to wait for update 9. Anyone knows, when it's out?

'Update 8' refers to a pirated version. :pirate:

A little bit longer is what? 10 minutes? 2 hours? 10 minutes is a problem. 2 hours could easily be running out of RAM. Lots of ram hungry mods will eat your memory and spit out a CTD. With 4G of system ram, you should have about 3.5G available for the game - which should be more than enough for 2 - 3 hours of continuous play - unless you are running at very high settings and have a lot of ram eating mods. That is Bethesda's way of telling you to take a break. However, even if you are playing vanilla with low settings you may still see an occasional CTD.

Another possibility is something is overheating. If it is a video card you typically start seeing video artifacts before the crash - color blocks in the video, flashing, color dropouts, stretched items. If it is the CPU, slow downs, freezes or long pauses usually precede a crash. A power supply problem will often reboot the computer. A ram problem can cause a CTD or lock up. A hard drive slow downs, pauses during loading and corrupt saves.

A little longer means that i can play from around 5 to 15 minutes without a crash. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I run on ultra. And probably yes, i use mods, that use a lot of ram. So it basicly means, that o have to disable them?

Found the problem - stolen (pirate) version.

We support the game makers and NOT pirates.
