Sticz Posted June 17, 2018 Share Posted June 17, 2018 If you are not wanting it to be a book, per se, but a ring or something similar you can make the crafting requirement be a perk (like most of the crafting skills) and then add the perk to the player the same way the silver weapons do. That would require very little effort as most, if not all, of the resources are already in the game (i.e. the silver weapons just add a perk when equipped, you can select which perk that is in the CK). For your recipe add new condition that looks like this, replace the book with the item you want to be required: Also take a look at the wiki on Constructible Object, it explains it very well.
