Oh, this actually makes sense. I think the player marker is unique. I tried the better quest objective mod and it does improve the situation somewhat. Maybe it's just me, but the descriptions are still very vague and hardly help in finding the objective. It certainly doesn't replace map markers - for me, at least.I suppose I'll just continue hoping that someone makes a mod which hides/removes only the player location marker.
