When I open the SKSE with Nexus Manager it says "Please update to the latest version of Skyrim"! How can I do?!?!?

Please help me!!

SKSE is not updated by steam. You will need to go to the SKSE.Silverlock site where the latest version is always available. http://skse.silverlock.org/

 

The latest released version of SKSE is 1.4.15.7 and is for Skyrim Steam version 1.5.26.0

The SKSE team only supports the Steam version.

Sorry to reopen this old topic, but I have the same problem.

 

I have read a ton of forum posts, and I have tried several moves with Skyrim (Steam version).

 

No matter what I do, I always get the "Please Update to the latest version of Skyrim".

I have tried re-downloading SKSE, and Skyrim reinstall.

I have tried to opt in for the beta - checked that it worked (1.7.7.0) and used the BETA of SKSE, without that helping a bit.

Reverted to current version (1.6.89.0.6) and deleted the beta SKSE, and used the one from their site : http://skse.silverlock.org/download/skse_1_05_09.7z
