maroombey
So I've installed Realvision ENB and CoT along with ELFX, the problem is the dungeons became pitch black and the interiors are way too dark. I've tried reinstalling CoT cause it had an option for darker dungeons and I checked off the darker dungeons option during the reinstallation but the problem still persists! Also, can I use campfire with SkyRe ?
WastelandAssassin
let's start with the second question , as it is easier to answerif you go to Campfire's mod page , there is a link at the bottom for compatibility info (this is the link http://skyrimsurvival.com/home/campfire/compatibility/)check the beginning of it , and you'll see it clearly says that it is fully compatible with SkyRe with this out of the way , let us discuss the bigger problem you havewhich mod manger are you using? how have you installed these mods?note that generally speaking ELFX alone makes some dungeons really dark , as it removes the ambient light that you can see in vanilla dungeons (by that I mean light that does not come from any actual light source like windows or torches)so any place that doesn't have light sources will be very dark with ELFX installedI would highly recommend that you check and follow the installation instructions of RealVision , including the order of the installation (section 3 on the mod's description) , as your problem may be due to you not following these instructions properly
maroombey
I'm using Mod Manager and I've installed the mods in the order that was mentioned in step 3. So far there is no problem with the exteriors but is there any way to make the dungeons a bit brighter? Also, thank you for answering the second question! I've been so puzzled about first one that I didn't read the full description of campfire
WastelandAssassin
when you say Mod Manager , do you mean NMM? because mod manager could mean NMM or MO (this isn't the name of either , so clarification would help) have you also made sure to not only install the mods in the correct order , but choose the correct settings when installing each mod? do note that I've personally looked at all the official images of RealVision , and I haven't seen how any interior should lookso I don't know if what you are seeing isn't the intended resultyou could try to reconfigure ELFX and choose a version with brighter interiors , but I can't say if it'll workalso , if you removed CoT , you should probably reinstall all the other mods just to make sure everything is still fine if exteriors look good but interiors are still too dark , the obvious and stupid suggestions will be to use torches , light spells or nighteye (you may need a mod with brighter nighteye , as the vanilla effect might not suffice for you)but if you want to try and fix the actual mod list , try running the game without RealVision , and see if dungeons aren't too dark without it . try to configure your other mods , and then see if with RV you can still see in interiorsthis is going to take some experimenting on your part , but this is how modding works
maroombey
I'm using Mod organiser( MO ) and yes I think I may have solved the issue. When I disable the darker dungeons plugin of CoT the dungeons are not as dark as they were before ( without ambient light ). Maybe the reason was enabling both ELFX and CoT's darker dungeons made it extreme. Anyways thank you for helping me out mate, cheers.
WastelandAssassin
yeah , I just think you may have installed the mods with the wrong options (as RealVision tells you which options you need to choose when installing the mods)but I'm glad you managed to fix it
