An_Omen
Hi! I like the look of Qarl's texture packs and perhaps might use some distant LOD packs too but I don't know what would work best with my graphics card/monitor resolution. I run both desktop and Oblivion in 1280 x 1024. I've seen packs uploaded for 512, 1024, 2048 and even 4096. Can I only use the 512 and 1024 textures as my monitor doesn't go as high as the others or is it irrelavent to what the display shows and is more to do with how the textures were made? Please help, I'm confused. I have another quick question. How do you change the colours of the pop up info boxes on the world map? Is it even possible? And...is it possible to reverse the colours of the books in Oblivion? I have a sight issue with the bright colours of the vanilla books, scrolls, letters etc and would love a darker background and lighter text colour. I realise it would lose it's immersiveness as books are meant to be that colour as they are parchment but it's totally an ease of accessibility issue with me. Any ideas, suggestions welcome! Many thanks

Many thanks The graphics quality dosn't matter so much with your monitor but it does matter ALOT with your GFX card, I would recommend Qarls Texture Pack 3 Redimized and Further Reduced OMOD install it with OBMM and you can pick and choose which texture packs you want running. (I personally use all the textures but the outdoors ones like, rocks, grass, snowflakes, trees, etc...) As an OMOD you can easy add/remove textures to suit your taste. As far as changing the book background/text I would check out the DarkUI version of DarNified UI 1.3.1 I think it's exactly what you are looking for. Good luck & have fun. billypnats
yea but it requires a beefy PC, for people with medium specs. I recommend bomrets texture pack =)
