Help with startup

On startup of a new game I have this screen and can still see the UI but cannot move after accepting the character creation.

Difficult to tell, what's going on. It's a rather short list, and there aren't any big mistakes - or at least I don't see them.

 

Did you sort your load order with LOOT? I'm asking, because normally the Unofficial patch should go directly after the official DLCs, with Armorkeywords after Unofficial Patch. Don't think that's what causes your issues though.

 

Your description sounds like a UI issue. So I'd focus on UI mods.

- Make sure you got the latest version of "looksmenu" and OFC also of F4SE. Also make sure F4SE is actually running when playing the game.

- I'm a bit uncertain about the combination of DEF-UI scrapping and "immersive Scrapping". There COULD be a conflict.

 

If everything else fails, go through the intro (pre war Sanctuary and Vault 111) without mods and enable/install mods later. If you use a mod manager, simply create a "Vanilla" profile for that. I had issues with large load orders and the heavily scripted intro in the past, so I always play the intro without mods and activate them after arriving in the open world.
