I have the malehead_msn.dds for a race (Imperial) of my companion, but I want to change a look only for my companion, not for any other NPC in game, it would conflict with other mods which are changing the look of various NPCs. Shall I create my own race based on the Imperial race, and there set my custom dds file? I was trying to do this, but I could not find place for dds location... Thanks in advance for help. If you duplicate an existing npc, give it a new form id, name, etc, then I wouldn't think it would conflict with other mods. Not sure why you'd have to create a whole new race unless that is what you are intending. Changing your companions appearance should be easy under the Character gen parts and character gen morph tabs.
