EndlessWay
Hello everyone, So I just started a new run in Skyrim (finally) and threw a few mods at it. Nothing too fancy really and I will be uploading a screenshot of my mod selection. However, when I played I started to notice the famous "Z-fighting" showing off in the distant mountains of Skyrim which immediately started to annoy me. Of course I went on and tried to find a fix for Z-Fighting. I followed the STEP-Guide, which wanted me to mess around with my .ini settings in order to solve this issue. Luckily this fix helped me out quite well as there was no noticeable Z-fighting left when I jumped back into the game. Still, it seems like these fixes brought up another Problem for me: Shimmering textures. There are a lot of Threads out there covering this issue, but I've never read of someone getting shimmering textures after applying a fix for Z-fighting. This shimmering effect looks like a really bad film grain on almost everything and I can't think of any other reason why this is happening, if not my Z-fighting fix. My question would be now: Have I done something wrong? Or is there a setting I can simply adjust to fix Z-fighting and at the same time shimmering textures? Modlist (Zero error messages, cleaned with TESV edit): I'd appreciate any kind of help, thanks in advance! Jerre.
