How to Submit Files From FileFront?

I have loads of mods from FileFront for the games KOTOR 1 & 2, I've looked through the mods on Nexus and the majority of the mods I have are there, but there are some mods that I have which don't come up when I search their names, for example, I have a mod called "Revans Flowing Cape & Belt fix 1.1" and I cannot find it in the mods section of Nexus.

 

So is it possible to submit the mods I have and have them uploaded to nexus so they're saved?

if you have permissions from the original authors (or if they made it clear that users can upload their work to other sites) , technically yes

but you should provide proof of permissions if you decide to do this , to prevent issues and false reports

I don't think half of the creators are even online anymore, and I wouldn't even know where to find them, all I have are their "Readme" Text files. Of course if I were to upload them I would give credit to the authors.

 

The uploader of many of the KOTOR mods is "GameFrontArchiver", do you think I could PM him about giving him the files he hasn't uploaded to upload to Nexus himself?

The GameFrontArchiver account is maintained by Nexus Mods admins. It was the result of a collaborative effort back in 2016. More information about that here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/news/12810

 

Regarding uploading other mods that may not have been included during archiving, though I'm sure your intentions are benevolent. I'm afraid that without consent from the author it would not be permissible to upload the content to our services.

I just wanted to make sure that the files I have are preserved and readily available for me to download again should my computer crash and I lose all my files for good.
