Khajiit tail texture problem

HI I just bought oblivion on steam and I'm having trouble with the texure of my khajiit. I use EVE HGEC and it works great but my female khajiit's tail does not match the rest of her body. Her tail is much darker than the body texture from hgec and its really bothering me. I found 2 fixes for it but I can't get either one to work:

and

http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/25867 - this one worked but the rest of her body turns two different colors and really patchy.

 

I also use roberts male bodies if that has anything to do with it.

 

I tried using different load orders and nothing has solved my problem. If anyone has any ideas or knows how to fix this I'd appreciate it!

 

 

EDIT: I kind of solved the problem! I used oblivion mod manager to invalidate the archives and it fixed it, but the tail texture is a bit blurry for some reason (looks better than before though). I hope that helps anyone with the same problem.
