SlyMaelstrom
I don't know if this has been addressed or can be addressed, but I've been having a ton of trouble with placed items in Skyrim. Specifically, items I place tend not to be where I placed them when I leave and re-enter the cell... sometimes it's the first time I renter, sometimes it takes a couple of times before things find themselves all over the room. I come into my virtual home and it feels like I've been burglarized. In Oblivion, I never really had this problem. Things stayed exactly where they settled after I put it down. Now, I suppose if this is a problem specific to the physics engine perhaps it can't be fixed too easily, but if it could I'm wondering if it has or is currently being worked on. Hell... maybe it's just some settings I need to tweak and I'm just not in the loop. Additionally, if it's possible I'd love to see placement being reworked to the way it did in Oblivion. That is to say, when you grab an item, it pivots where you're grabbing it rather than some default spot. This allowed me to easily rotate books and such by grabbing the corner of them or put potions up correctly by grabbing the top of them. This second request is actually stated here, by the way. So I guess I'm just reiterating their point. Thanks... By the way, I made some adjustments to most of the houses that made them more to my liking and quite a bit more useful. Once I'm comfortable with all of the changes, I'll release the esp. I'm also working on making some custom containers for alchemy and food items.
