Mod Request - Better Map Icons

While the map itself is not bad, I find the icons on the map to be way too big and intrusive. Same goes for the player marker.

 

Any kind soul that would like to whip up a mod for that? :smile:

 

Edit: Decided to give it a go myself and am now happily tinkering with the map textures.
