sjohnson89
oh yes this is fantastic man! great job on the pauldrons and the color. very well done you can simply use in game mark 2 combat helmet if you want, that doesnt need much editing so lets ease your workload. is the left arm bugging out because of pip boy? edit: i noticed 2 small color mismatches. one is at the back, near hip. the other one is the kneecaps. sjohnson89
i made a request to change the title. lets see if we can get some help. this is looking great. i'm very grateful for your work buddy. looks perfect now. i think i misguided you in one small part. i just had a look at the combat armors in new vegas all of them feature some armor on groin. do you think you can add the previous groin protector directly on the genital part? its not a big deal though but since you worked so hard to make it perfect i thought one final step would complete it. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/e/e3/FO3_Combat_Armor.png/revision/latest?cb=20120621213851 Edited June 28, 2018 by sjohnson89
YanL
Ok, later I'll answer all that, but first tell me, what do you think of that extra protection for arms and gloves?
sjohnson89
well it makes sense to cover the outer parts of hands and arms with extra armor, so i say they are a perfect addition. yes please! :D btw can you check your inbox? someone might be interested to help Edited June 28, 2018 by sjohnson89

sjohnson89
i was looking at the image that you used as guideline and i wanted to add more things, since you worked so hard to make it perfect: given the fact that we want this to be realistic, i think you can add armor around the neck, like in the picture. it must be shaped like a slave collar, with a unified, single mesh. same color as armor.groin protector, but you said you'll add it later so i'm skipping it. think shoulder pads can be slightly larger. https://pasteboard.co/Hs2wXtO.jpg (edited it to show it) i added arrows in paint to show the direction of size increasement. think it like "a magical, powerful hand is holding the pauldrons from their starting point, and pulling them at the direction of red arrows, resulting in larger pauldrons". the new size must be something like 15-20% larger, not too much. i want this change because this the mark 2 variant of the regular combat armor, therefore it must be superior, and it must offer superior shoulder protection. img for reference: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/e/e3/FO3_Combat_Armor.png/revision/latest?cb=20120621213851 and lastly, not a big deal but, can the two leather straps at the middle be moved to hip area? like a belt? it will also look like the belts are connecting the two satchels. YanL
add armor around the neck cool. groin protector Looks awful, but ok. Already put it. think shoulder pads can be slightly larger No, sorry. These pieces are Ulysses knee pads and it was a real hell to fit perfectly the way it is now. Change now is beyond my capacity. can the two leather straps at the middle be moved to hip area? No. This straps are the belly of the armor, if I move, there's going to be a hole there that I do not have the means to cover.
