dubiousintent
There are two different parts to your problem description which we need to clarify. Problems downloading a file can result in a corrupted file on your computer. NMC is split into 3 parts as 3 separate archives. They come packaged in 7zip format, and you can use the 7zip "test" command on a downloaded file to see if it is corrupted before attempting to install it. If it is corrupted, you have no choice but to attempt to download the same file again until it tests "okay". Because this mod overwrites vanilla mesh and texture files, you can't just uninstall it. You have to "verify local files" to restore the vanilla files, and may then need to re-install other mods that overwrite files as well. Please see the 'Game INI files', and 'Restoring to "Vanilla"' entries in the 'First Timer Advice' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. If you are attempting to use a "mod manager" to install and having problems, try using the "manual install" method instead. These are LOD/VWD mesh and texture replacement files, so you just unpack them into the game "Data" folder and allow them to "overwrite" any file conflicts. But you aren't done yet. If you add any VWD/LOD textures, please see the 'Checklist Item #15 & 16' entries in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide regarding the need to run both TES4LL and FNVLODGen. -Dubious-
