Salusasecondus
Companions are invincible, this is i suppose good because if you accidentally kill them they perish forever.I don't like it when my friends die so here is what i propose..... A mercenary guild house! You can go in and talk to the Blademaster, you choose your class of fighter and it will 'spawn' near you. This npc companion can die but operates like any other loyal companion with the additional extra options of setting his 'home', meaning when you dismiss him / her they will wait and relax at the location you left them. They cost money however and so only the rich can afford an army. There are 3 Classes of fighters.1) Swordsman2)Archer3)Mage If your followers die NO PROBLEM!, just go and buy another one. There is no upper limit to how many you can buy and mercenaries have a range of appearences so they all look like individuals. Having lots of companions is overpowered because they cant die, with this mod, mercenaries which are npcs YOU DONT CARE WHO DIE, do your bidding.even if they do die,you can just go back to the blademaster and hire another one.The more you hire the more spawn and you can even have a squadron. For simplicity state in the description that you need to download UFO mod, so you can have more than 1 npc and they also have horse riding AIThat is simply it. It shouldn't take much work i imagine. Lets face it. When you play a mod like Dangerous dragons and you crank the difficulty up to where you NEED a party of adventurers to kill a dragon, there is nothing more exciting than when your comrades perish around you, where the dragon grabs your follower and throws him around with their razor sharp teeth! Thanks Edited May 16, 2012 by Salusasecondus

YsmirNord
Maybe order to your army to spread out to make it look like an operating squadron instead of unrejected stalkers

Thanks There is a mod called "Mercenaries", I forgot if it was in the Steam Workshop or the Nexus but it exists.
