WastelandAssassin
well , I'm pretty sure there is no way to do such a thing without SKSEso in that case , it's probably take it or leave it
thumbincubation
Was going to suggest honed metal as well. I don't recall ever seeing anything similar, without SKSE and SKYUI. I'd strongly recommend taking the time to get comfortable using both, as they will open the door to many more great mods, and make your life easier in the long run. Every time I try playing the game with those mods on it loads my playthru and when I get into the game it CTD's instantly but when I uninstalled the mods I could play with no CTD's

Every time I try playing the game with those mods on it loads my playthru and when I get into the game it CTD's instantly but when I uninstalled the mods I could play with no CTD's that is most likely due to you not installing them properly or somethingI am using all 3 mods in my current playthrough , and I am able to play a smooth game with no crashesso I would really recommend going over the installation instructions , making sure you follow it correctly , and also install all of the requirements that these might have (don't recall if they require anything , will have to check)also , not sure about adding these to an existing save file . never tried it , and I would usually not recommend adding or removing anything from an existing save , as it is an easy cause for troubles . so try these on a new game (use the alternate start mod to skip the long and boring opening) and test if they work properly
SorcerersSatchel
For example use LOOT. It will also prevent CTDs. I play since 2011 Skyrim and when the Beta of SKSE came out I got it right away. Today I have no issues at all and not even CTDs.
