Mod quests with non voiced dialogue

I was wondering if there was a fix for this happening. When talking to an npc from a mod without voice acting, the subtitles are far too quick. I've tried looking for something akin to the fix in oblivion but haven't found one. Is there something wrong with my installation perhaps or is there no fix.

The modder should have recorded 2-3 seconds of silence for each dialogue line.

Check if you accidentally didn't install the sound/voice/ bla bla bla folder.

If you're sure there wasn't, then it's the modder's fault.

Well, if you want, you could always open up the mod in the CK, and edit the dialogue with the appropriate files to make the text appear for longer.

Open up the dialogue in the mod, and click the button that says "Select sound". Look for a file that has "AAAXXSecondSilence", with XX being the number of seconds the dialogue stays up for. Saves a tonne of space as the sound is a sound effect, that causes it to stay up for longer, and does not need to be duplicated for every dialogue that uses the file, unlike the usual "Record silence with a mic" method.
