confinum
I can't seem to find anything anywhere that still works as a way to import/export .tri files into say like blender or something.
Levionte
I don't use blender for that, but there are some tools out there. Granted, most of them have a bit of a learning curve. That being said, hair only uses the .tri file for the weight-slider, so that it doesn't clip when the body and neckline change. That's why most hair mods don't even bother with it. Many meshes either don't need it, or it's otherwise just easier to move the vertices to give it some space.
rkkn
I tried this, but it didn't work:On attempting to import the file, the import script threw an error. The page linked talks extensively about heads and face parts but never mentions hair, so I'm guessing hair files are different from head files. What do people use for editing hair? edit: Well, I'll try skipping the tri. Clipping is indeed the problem I'm trying to solve, but I missed the mention of it being only for the weight slider. The clipping is when the head/neck changes position so perhaps this tri won't help anyway Edited September 20, 2020 by rkkn
