Camera views and armor

OK, so yes, before u ask I am new to this modding of skyrim, I play Sims 3 all the time and have lots of mods for it but have never made a mod yet.

So,... several things, one I am looking for a mod that allows different camera views, I mean where u can look at your character or an NPC from a different view, not from a predetermined point in the corner of the room, is there such thing and where might I find it I have tried searching and no matter what search words or boxes I tick I get no results.

Next, what is this creation kit I keep hearing about, I have no idea where to find it and no idea how to use it if I did although I did come across a tutorial on using it today but I have not checked it out yet.

Next, I keep seeing all these players characters dressed in these skimpy armor and things....but again, no matter how I use the search parameters I get nothing, I personally do not wish to use them on my own players but would like to use them for followers and or NPC's,

I know, I know...stupid noobie doesn't even know this is not the place to ask these questions and someone probably already answered them somewhere else but everyone was a noobie at one time or another so a little help would be nice, not going to post my e-mail here but it is in my profile, or just send me a message PLEASE ?

You don't need a mod for this, firstly you can zoom out with the scroll wheel of your mouse and pan around to your hearts content in normal mode -> when in battle mode (i.e. with your weapon drawn) holding down the "F" key will allow you to pan around, though at a predetermined distance, and finally you can use the console command "tfc" (= Toggle Fly Cam) which gives you complete freedom of movement, even below floors and ceilings to view the whole map if you like without your player moving at all.

There are also several other commands you can use in conjunction with this command which do things such as turn off NPC AI so you don't get attacked/killed and also remove the "HUD" for better screen shots, just search console commands or have a look at the sticky here in the forums for a list of (nearly) every console command known

The CK or Creation Kit is a program and set of tools provided by Bethesda (similar to the GECK which was released for Fallout 3 and New Vegas) It's a (sometimes/somewhat) crude, but effective tool for modifying (almost) every aspect of Skyrim, down to and including virtually creating a whole new game (if you want to spend that much time on it)

The Nexus sites have a tool called NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) which allows (almost) seamless and (almost) idiot proof installation of mods. To search for any particular mods you can start here "The Skyrim Nexus Site" and you can either use the "search" function or simply select a category from the drop down list and browse away

On this forum asking polite questions is never considered "stupid" Just PLEASE take the time to browse through the forums first because, as you already stated, many times your question may have already been asked, also PLEASE read the "Sticky" posts about which forums to what questions and what not to do ...

P.S. Welcome to the Nexus
