They are completely redundant compared to normal spells, and the unique Staffs of Magnus, Skull of Corruption and Sanguine Rose aren't that very useful (I'll let the Wabbajack slide because it's supposed to be a novelty weapon). Combined with a mod that lets Destruction spells scale in power, staffs are a joke. I'd like a mod that adds a few perks that increase the power of staffs, or lets them scale to your skill in Enchanting or Destruction or something. With high enough skill with staffs, they become more powerful than a standard spell. Of course, this would most likely require a revamping of staff mechanics.
