ELMOSTWANTEDXD
I've installed EVE manually because in NMM every time when I'm going to install it, always apear an error or some advice... Well, all was good until I got some weapons of GRA. The first time just appears a big white exclamation with a red background, I supossed that WMX was the problem so I unistall it but when I search in the weapons list of the Pip-Boy the game crashes... I tried unistalling all the mods and reinstalling the game but all is the same ;; help. Almost if somebody can pass me some link with the data of the game or something. dubiousintent
The "ArchiveInvalidation" will only help with the missing mesh problem. As for the CTDs, there are simply too many possibilities to guess from your vague description. Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as NVSE and it's related plugins, texture replacements (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX. * Be aware that one error may mask a number of other errors, which will not appear until those masking them have been resolved. Building a stable game consists of resolving each problem individually until none remain, and then realizing that every change you make thereafter (including updates to mods already installed) run the risk of introducing new problems. Be prepared to revert to a previous save if you do so.Please see the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article for the most common causes. -Dubious-
ELMOSTWANTEDXD
My specifications: CPU: Intel Pentium CPU B960 @ 2.2GHz (2 CPUs)Integrated Video Chip: Intel HD Graphics Family 2000Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce 6600 GTRAM: 2GBScreen Resolution: 1366x768Hard Drive: 500GB (160 GB Free)Windows: 10 Home 64 bitsGame Location: C:\Fallout New Vegas Ultimate EditionThe game obviusly have all the patches and DLCs and Im using the NMM 0.65.2 and LOOT 0.11.0. Actually I uninstalled all the mods (before that I post this) but I think the crash happens because I installed manually the EVE and replace the files so when I pass the Chainsaw there is no meshes and the game crashes.I buy this laptop in 2013 and I didn't have so much problems with it when I was playing old games and some others like Fallout 3 or NV (The game runs perfectly 40-60 fps at Medium). I dont know how to put an image here so if you can tell me how I will put the order of my files. Edited June 30, 2018 by ELMOSTWANTEDXD
ELMOSTWANTEDXD
Basically the problem is that I pass the Chainsaw (Or some other weapons like Incinerator) in the weapons list on the Pip-Boy the game freezes and crashes to desktop. I think that happens because I replaced the meshes with the EVE Files and then I delete the mod so when I pass some weapons the game just freezes and crash because there are no files. Hope you can help me and if you need something more just say that. This is the order of my files:-FalloutNV.esm-DeadMoney.esm-HonestHearts.esm-OldWorldBlues.esm-LonesomeRoad.esm-GunRunnersArsenal.esm-ClassicPack.esm-MercenaryPack.esm-TribalPack.esm-CaravanPack.esm
dubiousintent
If you overwrite files when installing a mod, it is usually overwriting "vanilla" game files the first time. After that it might be overwriting files from other mods. Sounds like you need to "verify local files" to restore the vanilla files. Supposedly NMM works from an "empty Data folder" concept, but it sounds as if it's not working that way. You might want to read up on how you are supposed to configure NMM. (Can't help you there.) The wiki "How to ask for help" article has instructions on how to post your "load order" to the forum. Images and attachments like ZIP files can't generally be posted directly to the forums. You would have to put them on another site and use the "URL Link" icon on the "Reply to this topic" page menu bar to point to it. Please see "How to markup images (etc) in forum posts and comments". (Images are terrible for providing the "load order" (LO) anyway, because they usually can't show everything in one image and it's hard to track/scroll across multiple images.) -Dubious-
ELMOSTWANTEDXD
Well... I've installed the NV on steam and then I proceeded to "Verify integrity of files" but when the advice appears, that there is a missing file and Steam will start downloading, never happens... Still having the problem even if I run it as admin. Edited July 1, 2018 by ELMOSTWANTEDXD
ELMOSTWANTEDXD
Hey!I think that I find a solution... I started a new game and add to MI inventory all the GRA weapons (Chainsaw included) and there was no problem... I think the other save game is 'corrupted' so... I think I have to start from 0 now. dubiousintent
"Verify files" will ALWAYS find at least one file it needs to replace. It is believed this is the "Fallout_default.ini" file. But there is no visual indication that the downloading has finished except that the "downloading" message disappears. Not clear what you mean by "Steam will start downloading, never happens". This is not Twitter. You have an unlimited number of characters to describe a problem and we need specific details to help you. By "Still having the problem even if I run it as admin" assume you are referring to the problem scrolling the Pipboy menu. The only reason you would need to "run as admin" is if you installed Steam (and the game) to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree, but you indicated it is under "C:\Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition". "Run as Admin" should not be needed to play the game in that case. If it is required, then likely an access privilege problem is one of "File and Folder permissions" on the parent "root" folder under which you installed the games. If this is not set correctly to allow at least "System", "Administrators", and "Users" to have "Full Control" then you can't overwrite other files or make changes. You then need to enable the "Properties | Security | Advanced | Change Permissions" setting of the parent folder to enable the box: "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object", so those changes get applied to the existing files and sub-folders. If the problem persists with a "clean install" and no mods, you have an issue with the vanilla game I've never heard of. In which case, please see the 'Game INI files', and 'Restoring to "Vanilla"' entries in the 'First Timer Advice' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.Test that "clean install" with a "new game" before you attempt to install ANY mods. -Dubious-
