Cute elves skin problem

just downloaded and installed cute elves (the latest one) and the faces look great! the models seem good except....

 

 

the skin seems weird. Its the wrong color first off (compared to the face, theres a clean line bewteen the two with a big color difference), and it seems like two different skins are trying to be used at the same time, some parts "bleed through" and amakes the skin blotchy and different colors. the shoulders especially. i can see clipping of another layer of skin coming through in different spots and the nipples dont show up either, their whole body is a solid color almost like a blotchy barbie.

 

I noticed another guy had the same problem on your comments of the file.

 

Anyone know whats going on? I have rens beauty pack, nec high elves, nec mystic dark elves (they especially look bad w/ this mod installed) and exnem naked texures. i also have a few custom faces textures (for companions), natural faces... and i cant think of any more that deal with textures but i have alot of different mods overall.

Same problem here bud, wish i could fix it, lol luckily there are necklaces and that kinda of covers it up but not fully

I had this problem by not installing Exnems Eyecandy body when I used HGEC. Do you have both installed?

I have the same problem, i downloaded: Optional_body_textures_for_FF_body and Optional_body_textures_for_Exnem_body. These were to be used in conjunction with 'cute elves'. but the body has a distinct line by the neck and feet.

 

I do not have on other mods that change the body textures, and i only had 1 of the optional body textures on.

 

Can anybody tell me what im doing wrong here? Cuz the body textures in the screen shots look alot better than mine.

A load list (list of mods in load order) might help us diagnose this.

I'm getting the same problems now with my mod, based off of cute elves. But it's using the original body that all of the other races (human) use. It works with my old save game, but with any new games, it has the same blotchy effect.

I'll get a load order up this evening when I have more time. :3

It sounds like you may have more than one body loaded. If you can, post a pic. As well as the load list.

I hadn't realized what a weird load order it was. Some of them may be my own mods I haven't released, but if you see anything odd, please let me know. I named all the races / body modifications (RACE).

 

Also on the side, activated are

Full_OMOD_Fixed 15802 ((HGEC))

Midas_Magic ((Which I need to deactivate, actually, since the esp is deactivated))

Female Eyecandy 1.0

Kojima61_omod

----- Those are all in blue

then in green: Natural Environments (deactivated)

and in red: Natural Faces (deactivated)

 

 

The things I can think of that might be causing a conflict may be the elves of the lineage or that I'm not supposed to have eyecandy activated while HGEC is activated. And that Asian elves (The mod based on cute elves) is so low on the list. What do you think?

 

A description of the problem:

There is black smudge like someone smudged a piece of paper, and it is around the elbows of both arms. Earlier when this had happened, it was an off skin tone color, like spots on a cow around the ribs. I fixed that by installing the original eyecandy.

 

EDIT: I just unchecked elves of the lineage and the skin problem is gone :3

Hey i finally got everything to work! It took me effort to actually do it but it works...thats what counts.

 

For anybody else who wants to resort to my last deperate measure...

 

1 ) Uninstall Oblivion.

2 ) Back up your data folder for all your oblivion data files.

3 ) Delete all files in your data files.

4 ) Install Oblivion.

5 ) I installed the patch v1.2.0416 that 'cute elves' requires.

6 ) I manually installed the 'cute elves' mod.

7 ) I installed Female EyeCandy - Body Replacer mod by Exnem.

8 ) I then installed Optional_body_textures_for_Exnem_body.

9 ) I checked the CuteElf11.esp in the data files in the Oblivion Launcher.

10 ) I used One of Acidoangels saves files... the character Elenya, to skip the beginning.

 

So far everything is working for me.

I can't garentee that this will work for everybody who has the same problem.
