McfarlenManmasta111 Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 dudes,for the fortunet few that ever played red alert 2 know about the chrono units in it. i have no idea how to make mods but i have a great idea for one. if there are any oblivion modders who read this here is my idea: chronom: time and space. the mod is about you finding a device that can control time. when you find the device you can use it to rewind time,go into slow motion,fast forward time and stop time. to be more specific i will put each power in detail: Chrono Rewind:If you ever played the prince of persia games you will know what im talking about. for example:you go into a dungeon and get and fall down a hole and onto a field of spikes. the Chrono Rewind abilty will allow the player to rewind time and get back to where he was with know harms done. Chrono Slow Time:This Ability should allow the player to go into somthing like the bullet time mod. Chrono Fast Forward:This Ability will allow the player to fast forward time. for example: you run fast as hell but your companion say,a knight of the nine, is way back in a swamp or somthing. with this ability the player would be able to fast forward time so the slow knight of the nine will get to you faster. Chrono Stop Time:This abilty would be similar to shegorath's staff ability. when the player use this ability time will stop. people will stop what they are doing,the rocks falling on your companion will stand still etc. And Finaly Chrono Resume: Chrono Resume is preety simple. this abilty will return time to what it is. Chrono units, however, did not have the ability to slow down time, they could bring it to a halt, travel where they are supposed to be and then let the time continue. The chrono reverse would be quite difficult to do. The Bullet time could be done i think, but the chrono reverse maybe impossible.The "Chrono gun" the "Chrono-Legioneers" used to erase their Target from Existence is, i'm virtually certain, not possible. But then, the "never existed" effect wasnt in the original Game either. If i targetet a Harvester and "erased" it from time, it would have never existed, leaving me with a time paradox, why would i send Chrono Soldiers to erase a Harvester that never existed?And why are the Ressources the Thing earned still there if it has never been existet? A time stopping effect would be very nice though. I would like to see a mage who hust threw a fireball at me, which is now hovering in mid air, just like an Arrow a Bandit just shot at me...
