CTD whenever loading save

[ATUXVI]

it's weird cause sometimes I manage to load a save, but either way it CTD whenever I fast travel. Maybe it's because I've modded it too much- I recently started downloading skeleton modifications and animation mods, it's definitively connected in some way.

system specs? and your modlist consist of alot of scripted mods,those tend to cause most ctd.the max amount of skyrim mods you can have is 255.and remember to sort your load order.

Try a new game, and see if you crash while fast traveling. If not you likely have a corrupted save file, which you can try and clean it with resaver but it often times will still be borked. If however on a new save, you are crashing when fast traveling (note where your crashing, is it to a particular area?) then you have conflicting mods causing a crash.

 

I assume you ran something like Loot, but you might want to clean your mods your using with TesEdit as well. If you still crash after that you pretty much need to start the long process of trial and error disabling mods until you have the issue resolved, which you can narrow down which mods to check often enough if the ctd is repeatable and in a particular area or while doing a particular thing.
